Hello, I’m ND and I’m here to not only promote, but celebrate both the release of my first ever Beyond Fairytales story and the Christmas Holiday. I’m even giving away a $20 Amazon Gift Card and a copy of the book!
When I got to thinking about a blog tour, I decided I wanted to go with something that celebrates the holiday but isn’t strictly about promo. So here’s what I come up with…over the next six days, you - my dear readers, will get a glimpse of what a good old fashioned Christmas is like to a grown up cybernetic man who’s never experienced it.  So pull up a chair, a glass of your favorite holiday drink – whether that be eggnog or apple cider, and enjoy a little holiday fun as Ivan introduces his master and lover to everything that we humans take for granted during the holiday season…

 Cranberries and Warm Bottoms

Taking a deep breath, Ivan picked up the tray holding a huge bowl of popcorn he’d had to pop to replace the bowl he’d made the day before, a smaller dish of fresh cranberries, a spool of metallic gold thread, scissors, and a few needles. It had been years since he’d done this, but he couldn’t help but be nervous.  What if Lucero thought this was stupid?  Or worse just humored him?

“I’m growing impatient, amans.  Don’t make me come in there and get you.”  The command in his master’s voice sent shivers of awareness down Ivan’s spine.  He recognized that tone.  Lucero wasn’t fooling around.

“Coming.”  He shouldered past the swinging door and entered his living room, where Lucero sprawled on the couch with Luci-belle curled up in a tight ball on his chest.   His dick, which had softened a little while he’d gathered the supplies, went hard.  He barely had time to set the tray down on the low stand next to the couch, when Lucero commanded his attention.

“Come here.”  Lucero snapped his fingers without disturbing her highness.  “It’s been too long since I’ve touched you.”

He opened his mouth to protest as nerves set in.  He wanted to retort that the man had done his share of groping while they’d stomped through the new snowfall to find the perfect tree. That same tree currently held a position of honor in front of the bay windows of his living room.  So much teasing that Ivan had nearly come in his pants, or would’ve if the attendant at the farm hadn’t stopped to ask if he needed help loading the tree into the truck.

“I don’t like having to repeat myself, Ivan.”  Lucero sat up and set the cat aside.

He blanched as he realized that his master hadn’t appreciated his slowness in responding.  “I’m sorry, I…”  He knew Lucero wouldn’t deliberately be cruel or mean, but the part of him that lived to submit to the man, cringed at the idea of not pleasing him.

“I know.”  Lucero threaded his fingers through Ivan’s long hair, his nails erotically scratching at his scalp, before tugging on the strands as Lucero pulled his head down for a kiss.  Ivan moaned softly against Lucero’s lips, highly aware of his naked state compared to that of his clothed master.

By the time he released Ivan from the kiss, he was ready to forget about stringing the garland and beg his Sir to fuck him.  It was always like this.  The red-hot need to belong to the smaller man… to lose himself in his master’s embrace.

“Fuck the decorations. Take me to bed, Sir?”

“No. This is part of your traditions.”  Lucero growled, just before Ivan’s ass lit up, bright as any lights on any Christmas tree, when Lucero’s hand landed hard.  “You promised we’d decorate this tree. So let’s get started or would you rather have a good ass warming first?”

Ivan groaned. “Damned if the later doesn’t sound tempting, but a promise is a promise.”  He took a deep breath and resisted the urge to rub the spot where Lucero had smacked.  “We’ll have to string the lights first, but let’s get started on the cranberry and popcorn garland…”  Ivan struggled to focus on the task at hand…all the while knowing that once they were finished his master would probably pounce…and he couldn’t wait.

Stay tuned tomorrow to find out if Ivan gets his reward for keeping his promise or not…on Louisa Bacio’s blog.   And don’t forget to tell me if you have a tradition you do every year, or do you wing it?...  in the Rafflecopter form (or link) below…you’ll be entered to win a twenty dollar gift card from Amazon and a free copy of Don’t Call Me Iron Man. I’ll be drawing the winner on Dec 21st and announcing the winner on my BLOG.

Don't Call Me Iron Man

by N.D. Wylders

Once upon a time...there was this guy. A man who had an IQ out of this world and was arrogant enough to give the legendary Tony Stark a run for his money. He had everything he could ever want—a good job, more money than he knew what to do with, and all the sex he wanted—no strings attached. But that all changed on one fateful night...

The last thing Ivan Chugunov expects when he drop by his favorite haunt for a few brews is to be entertained by a mysterious storyteller. But as he listens to the man's tale of a prince and an oddity that went by the name of Iron John, he finds himself lost in the story...only to awaken in another realm—one with a quest—for him. Repair the purifier vital to all those who lived and retrieve a medical unit. Seems simple enough and a small price to pay to return to his own time.

Well, until he finds out that said 'LT-1789 unit' is actually a reclusive cybernetic man. One who will demand his own price of Ivan—three nights of unbridled sexual bliss...with Ivan at his mercy. Only then will he return to the royal clutch.

Can Ivan, a man who relishes control above all else, submit to a man who may be more machine than human?

#WriteTip - Is Your POV Working? by Shiloh Saddler (@ShilohSaddler), a @DecadentPub #MMRomance Author

I'm delighted to welcome Shiloh Saddler back to offer another #WriteTip. Before I take out my notebook, I should let you know that this prolific author has a brand new book out. Part of Decadent Publishing's Beyond Fairytales line, Bitten by Snake Oil promises to be a sizzling hot MM Romance. It's available now, and there's a juicy excerpt for you at the end of this post.

Is Your Point of View Working?

by Shiloh Saddler

I’d like to thank Tara for having me on her blog today. Bitten by Snake Oil, my Beyond Fairytales retelling of the Old Man Made Young Again, was released today. Have you heard of the story The Old Man Made Young Again? [Nope...not me.] I hadn’t when Decadent assigned me this story. I didn’t realize how many Grimm fairytales there were until I looked them up!

Bitten by Snake Oil was a challenge to write. The original story is far from romantic. It taught me many things one of which was how important the right point of view is for your story. I don’t know how many times I started writing Bitten by Snake Oil in third person. It is common for a romance to show both main characters in third person. However, it wasn’t working for me.

I could get inside my blacksmith’s head, Jed Riker, however the other man in my story Peter Saint was remaining silent. Being a medicine show salesman who dabbles in magic he didn’t want to give up his secrets. I finally relented and allowed him to remain in the shadows. As soon as I scrapped the draft and started in first person the story came together quickly. I realized that my blacksmith could carry the story all by himself.

Bitten by Snake Oil

by Shiloh Saddler

Since the death of his wife four years ago, blacksmith Jed Riker has been fighting his attraction to men. When sexy medicine-show man Peter Saint comes into Tumbleweed, Kansas, Jed buys his potion hoping for a cure, but receives vivid erotic dreams of the perfectly built salesman instead.

Jed’s uses all his strength and energy to fight the attraction in a town where the local preacher’s hellfire and damnation sermons promise repercussions if he dares to act on them. Can Peter Saint’s potions offer a solution and free the blacksmith to live and love as he wishes and not as his closed-minded neighbors demand?

My chest rose and fell as I let out a long sigh. I sank deeper into the mattress, and my white-knuckle grip on alertness slipped.

Slowly, I succumbed to slumber.

“Are you mad at me, Blacksmith?”

I rolled over and blinked. Mr. Saint sat next to me on the bed, not wearing a stitch of clothing.

My gaze dropped to his growing cock. I caught myself and forced my attention back to his face.

“Why would I be mad at you?” My voice wavered. I didn’t know what he expected me to say and felt somehow this was a test…maybe even a trap.

Mr. Saint scooted closer to me, and his hand trailed down my bare arm, igniting sparks under my skin. “You didn’t seem too friendly with me earlier.”

My stomach tightened. How friendly did he want me to be? Considering he was sitting on my bed, naked, I was guessing very friendly.

“Sorry, Peter,” I mumbled. I should order him to put his clothes back on and leave my room immediately, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I could gaze at his angelic form all night long.

Disgusted with myself, I rolled back onto my side and again faced the wall. Maybe he would get the hint and leave. I bit my lip and held my breath.

“You can make it up to me,” he whispered in my ear.

“How?”

His hand traveled down my back and over the curve of my ass. He stopped, his palm firmly planted on my right cheek. “Let me inside you.”

#NewRelease - The Love Commission by Vicki Ballante (@VickiBallante), A @DecadentPub #PNR

I must admit to major cover envy when it comes to Vicki Ballante's new release. It's set in Africa, features fairies, and has an environmentally friendly premise. Have I managed to pique your curiosity? Read on for a sneak peek.

The Love Commission

by Vicki Ballante

Gelsey is a savannah sprite—a fairy in Africa who works to preserve the earth. She’s a pro at eco-balance, but when the fairy queen gives her a commission to become a human to learn the meaning of love, she’s miserable. She has to give it her best as it’s the only way to get her dream job—to save the African Wild Cat.

After a short time in her new life, Gelsey is swept into the world of Evan’s love. Now, she must make an impossible choice—give up her life with the man who owns her heart or lose her fairyhood forever.

The queen must have chosen the noisiest moment to give her the commission.

“You are to enter the human world…as a human.”

Gelsey blinked, her wings trembling against her back. Four fairies had entered the human world and only one had come back safe, having succeeded in her commission. Two others had remained human, and the last one had been killed.

“I don’t understand….”

“You are a young fairy who has an amazing ability to calm down the most frightened bird or insect. I believe you will be as suitable for this commission as you are beautiful and humble. You know you aren’t perfect. Someone humble enough to admit her weaknesses would be just right for the human world. You won’t lose your personality at all when you take your new form. You won’t even lose your wings. They will merely remain dormant. You will be divested of some of your powers, though. But your power to calm down the distressed will remain. That power will enable you to succeed in your commission.”

“What am I to do?”

“You are to marry a man for a year. You will find out why the humans want love and sex but not children. As you may have learned in your studies at nature school, Homo sapiens reproduce differently to fairies. They reproduce by sex between a male and female. But the species have devised several means to prevent babies from being formed in the female body even though they continue to have sex. This has lowered the reproduction rate of the creatures who are important for the balance of the earth, specifically in South Africa. For this purpose, I want you to enter into their world and feel what they feel. You are to know what it is to love a male human with their type of love. You will go at the first break of spring and will be able to return home at the start of the following spring. We will give you your own vial of fairy dust. The gold dust should be used only twice. The first time is when you find a suitable man to marry. When you find someone who is single and who cares about the balance of nature, you must sprinkle the fairy dust on his head. The magic will make him want to marry you. Once the magic has worked, you cannot find another man. He is the one for you. If you mistakenly choose a married man, you will get one more chance.”

Gelsey’s wings beat against her back until they ached. Become a human and marry one? How would she know what to do? And a whole year? She would miss out on spring. It had been a long, cold winter, and she wouldn’t get to see or hear all the new baby birds or play with the flying ants when the rains came.

“The second time you should use the fairy dust is to come home. You are to sprinkle the dust on the man you have chosen to make him turn away from you. He will forget every instant shared with you. He will forget his marriage, and so will everyone he knows. Then you can come home without arousing any suspicion. Ziana will explain where you are to go and what job you will take on in the human world to make you fit in there. You have a month to find this man you are to wed. While you are married to him, you need to find out from him or anyone else you meet, like other females, the reason for the humans not wanting as many children. You are to research your own emotions and those of the male’s, and work out what is happening to humans to change their future.”

“What if I don’t find anything of importance?”

“By becoming one of them, you will automatically understand how they think and what is happening in their hearts. Although you may not comprehend in the beginning, marrying a male human will help you to understand. Well, that’s what we believe.”

Gelsey wasn’t so sure. The queen had much more wisdom than the general fairy, but what if she didn’t know everything? Fairies knew little of the human world. They had never understood humans and their strange behaviors.

“If you succeed at your commission, you will be promoted to Head Endangered Animal earth fairy for South Africa.”

Gelsey gasped. To be able to save an animal from extinction had been her dream for years. But could she fulfill this commission?
