#NewRelease and #99cents #Sale - #SexytoGo, Vol 3 (including Water Games, by Yours Truly)

I honestly didn't think I was going to make it this month, but here I am, with yet another short story for Sexy to Go. Eva Lefoy is convinced she can put out an anthology every month, and it's been surprisingly smooth sailing thus far. Commitment-phobe that I am, I can't promise to join in all the time, but I'm trying my best to be a semi-regular contributor.

So, if you've read Punishing the Messenger (Sexy to Go, Vol. 1) and Lip Service (Sexy to Go, Vol. 2), you'll be  familiar with Kailee Chan and Damien Walker, my heroine and hero in Sexy to Go, Vol. 3. If you skipped the first two installments, no biggie–I made sure Water Games stands on its own two feet. (Psst... Sexy to Go, Vol. 1 is currently on sale for $0.99.)

As the title suggests, this month's short story features some sexy times in the shower (and more kinky stuff in a hot tub).  Below is the adults-only un-redacted version of the teaser above (you have been warned).

The heavy wood door opened with a slam. Distorted by the glass screen, the intruder’s silhouette took the form of a lurking phantom. The shuffle of fabric truncated the din of falling water. Her lungs ceased to function as she pressed her back into the corner, her instinct to flee warring with recognition.
The scent of Damien’s cologne, blended with minty aftershave and masculine sweat, calmed her nerves and triggered an unwelcome response. Heat bloomed between her legs, its intensity far surpassing the shower’s temperature.
The barrier between them swung in, revealing a sculpture carved from obsidian. Muscles rippled over her husband’s chest and abdomen. His biceps flexed as he placed his hands on either side of her shoulders and kicked her escape route shut. Sapphire eyes gleaming in the warm light, he bent his neck. His hot breath scalded her forehead. “You’re in the wrong bathroom.”

#NewRelease - Playing the Part by Lynn Rae, a @LSB_lsbooks contemporary #romance

I'm giving a shoutout today for fellow Liquid Silver Books author Lynn Rae. The third installment in her Love Around the Corner series, her new release should tempt any small-town contemporary romance fans.

Playing the Part

Love Around the Corner

By Lynn Rae

Independent Melanie Sheraton has to hustle for odd jobs in her small town to eke out a living. When the opportunity to act as a driver for some movie folks comes up, she jumps at the chance to earn an extra paycheck. What she didn’t bank on was one of her passengers invading her imagination, something she resists since no movie star would ever be interested in her.

At a crossroads in his professional life, action star Thomas ‘Wheeler’ Locke is in Ohio for a role he hopes will launch his career in a new, serious direction. Instead of concentrating on his acting, he finds himself growing more and more distracted by his feisty driver and her irascible ways.

Dancing around the attraction growing between them, both Mel and Thomas struggle to maintain their distance as the time for filming grows short. Will a reunion at the movie’s London premiere bring them together, or will their disparate lives keep them apart?

“Don’t do it, dilrod,” Melanie Sheraton growled under her breath, concentrating on the red SUV weaving erratically in and out of the lane ahead of her. The driver seemed impatient with the ten mile per hour pace set by the International Harvester tractor pulling two grain wagons. They also didn’t like Michigan all that much, judging by the vulgar decal on the rear window.

Mel risked a glance at her passengers in the back seat. The older one who’d impressed her immediately, Graham Tipton, blinked at the scenery slowly going by, but the younger one, Wheeler Lock, appeared to be watching her through his expensive-looking sunglasses. Nervousness tickled down her back, and she returned her attention to the aggressive driver ahead of her who, as she’d feared, was now attempting to pass about forty feet of farm equipment on a narrow road with a double yellow line.

The red vehicle lurched with sudden acceleration, and Mel put on her brakes, ready for an accident. Quick-and-busy up ahead had miscalculated how long it would take to pass that much agricultural machinery; so when another car appeared in the opposite lane, the driver slammed on the brakes and whipped the SUV back into the space behind the wagons Mel had left. The top heavy vehicle nearly tipped into the ditch, as he or she over corrected and slammed on the brakes several times in frustration.

Headcase,” Mel muttered, allowing herself one little verbal expulsion before she clammed up. Larry had been very clear when he hired her for this chauffer job; no talking with the movie cast and crew in the vehicle. No personal information, no socializing, no screenplays, no movie reviews, no request for autographs, no auditions from the front seat. None of it. Don’t bother the talent.

Mel wanted this job and needed the paycheck, so she was happy to drive the out-of-towners wherever they wanted to go as silently and safely as she could. So far, the two actors in the backseat had been less troublesome than the kids she drove on the school bus every fall.

Their slowed pace might put her passengers behind schedule. She supposed she should apologize even though the cause of the delay was right in front of them, rattling along, clanking, and belching puffs of exhaust.

“Sorry about the slowdown. I bet he’ll turn off soon.”

“Quite all right my dear,” Graham, the British one, assured her. His cultured tones were like a dose of Masterpiece Theatre in west central Ohio. “It’s quite lovely to observe the fields at a slower pace rather than rushing along to the next thing like we usually do. I saw some birds, little brown ones with black tails. I wonder what they’recalled? What is it you grow around here? I don’t recognize these crops.”

Mel considered this; talk of agribusiness wasn’t in any way personal. If he asked a question, she should answer. It was only polite, and Larry had also reminded all the drivers to be polite.

“Right now we’re in the middle of soybeans, and up ahead will be sugar beet and corn at the Kirkendall’s farm.”

“The tall one is corn, and the short one is soybean,” Wheeler Lock rumbled, looking as menacing as the characters he usually portrayed. She’d recognized him from a few of his movies where he’d played the tough, silent enforcer, and he’d been true to type as her passenger. He’d shaken her hand briefly when they were introduced and remained quiet up until now. Graham had been more interactive; he’d smiled at her immediately and asked her to point out anything interesting on their drive from the hotel where all the movie folks were staying.

On their journey to the set, nothing interesting had appeared. This didn’t surprise Mel. Nothing interesting happened in Muchichippi County except for the arrival of these movie people and all their equipment out at the Hansen place. It had been the talk of Palmer after the deal had been struck over the winter, and when the trailers and trucks arrived earlier in the month, no one could resist speculating what the Hollywood people would be like. In the twenty minutes she’d had these two in the rental car, they’d seemed to be pretty normal. Of course, driving along at a horse’s pace might wear on them soon. At least neither one had pulled out an iPhone and fiddled with apps.

“Sugar beets are short too,” she advised and could sense Wheeler Lock’s gaze on the back of her neck. Perhaps she’d overstepped; her bad habit of having to be the smartest one in the room had just bounced right out of her mouth like a SuperBall from a candy machine.

“And so is wheat, which we passed earlier,” the intimidating man growled out.

“Sorghum is tall, we’ll be seeing some of that soon enough.” Mel didn’t glance in the rearview mirror at the sure-to-be scowling Mr. Lock. He probably knew some sort of mixed marital arts and was contemplating an exotic way to choke his smart aleck driver as soon as they got out of the moving vehicle.

#NewRelease and #Interview - Seoul Spankings by Anastasia Vitsky (@AnastasiaVitsky ), a @DecadentPub #BDSM #Lesbian #Romance

One of my favorite wooden spoon wielders has a new release today. Anastasia Vitsky's FF BDSM romance is part of Decadent Publishing's 1Night Stand series, and it's actually set in Korea. I'm so eager to learn more, I'm having trouble writing a proper intro.

Without further ado, let's pump Ana for some details!

Q&A with Anastasia Vitsky

Hi MistressA.... I mean, Ana. What’s your book about?

Seoul Spankings is about an Iowa farmgirl who overcomes heartbreak about her cheating boyfriend and finds new life and love in South Korea.

Where did you get the idea for this book?

I wrote Desire in Any Language several years ago about a girl who studies abroad in Korea, and the response was overwhelming. When I received the invitation to write for the 1Night Stand series, I wanted to return to Korea and pair a Korean woman with a naïve girl from Iowa.

What traits and other tidbits do you share with your main character?

Indigo is not much like me because I love to travel the world, learn new languages, and try new cuisines. However, I share her trusting nature and desire for everyone to get along. Plus, I think spanking is sexy and terrific.

Did any of your inspiration for this book originate in your real life experiences?

I spent some time in South Korea and fell in love with the country and people there. Writing books that take place there reminds me of some of the happiest years of my life. I am jealous of Indi’s good fortune and wish I could find a Hyunkyung of my own!

Does your book take place in a specific region that would make people take an interest?

South Korea is a vibrant, thriving country with five thousand years of history and culture. It boasts some of the most generous hospitality in the world, and its food offers rich delights including its famous kimchi (spicy fermented cabbage).

Could an American girl survive and thrive in South Korea?

It depends on the girl. Indi makes a terrible first impression by dressing inappropriately, expecting everyone to speak English, and assuming that US standards are universal. However, Hyunkyung is more than happy to teach her otherwise—often with a good spanking!

Could two women have a public relationship in Korea?

It’s a good question, but should we give homophobia more credence than it deserves? I dream of a world in which women’s love for each other is accepted as natural and beautiful. By writing a story in which sexuality is incidental and instead we focus on the growing love between the two main characters, I hope I can help make this dream come true. Won’t you join me?

Do you have other project in the works? If so, what are they?

I have more projects than time to finish them! I recently finished a short story, “Anchored,” that tells of a sixty-one-year-old retired librarian who moves to Florida and falls in love with the president of her homeowners’ association. It’s one of the first stories to show lesbian love at an older age, and beta readers have been thrilled to see themselves represented in romance.

I’m also working on sequels to Taliasman, Mistress on Her Knees, and a special project for Pride in June. Also, I have most of the sequel to Seoul Spankings planned out. There will be a few other projects for the summer and fall, including my first half-fairy, half-human story.

Seoul Spankings

by Anastasia Vitsky

Broken-hearted when her live-in boyfriend impregnates her best frenemy, Indigo Adams accepts a one-way ticket to Seoul, South Korea, and a challenge from her Great-Aunt Matilda: Forget that boy. Go and make something of yourself.

Bruised from an international public relations nightmare as the new heir to the multi-billion-dollar Han Incorporated, Hyunkyung Han seeks positive publicity in the form of a wedding. She consults with Madame Eve to find a nice, well-behaved Korean American with bilingual and bicultural skills.

Instead, Madame Eve sends Indi, a naïve philosophy major graduate working for minimum wage at the local pub. Enraged to find Indi can’t speak one word of Korean, Hyunkyung orders her sent home on the next plane to Spillville, Iowa.

Then Hyunkyung shakes Indi’s hand, and the sparks fly. With all of her professional responsibilities, how can Hyunkyung allow herself to fall for the wrong woman? How can Indi feel attraction for a woman who despises her?

Seoul Spankings offers a light-hearted romp through the perils and joys of navigating an intercultural romance. Certain to delight all fans of a happily ever after with a kinky twist

“Say my name,” she demanded, startling me with her fierceness. Korean For Foreigners had told me saying someone’s name was rude.

“Hee-yon,” I stammered, unable to form the alien syllables. “Huh—huh-yawn.”

She pursed her lips, circling my chair. “Indi Go,” she enunciated, in the odd, separated manner seeming to order me from her presence. “Here I am not Ee Sajahng. I am Hyunkyung Han, and you will call me by name.”

“Ee,” I faltered. Some of her employees had said something familiar. “Ee?” I grasped onto the only sound I could replicate.

“Ee Sajahng,” she repeated. “Founder. Investor. A title, not a name. Call me Hyunkyung.” This time as she walked around me, her knee brushed against mine. A tiny gymnast vaulted somewhere underneath my ribs, and I spoke without thinking.

“Can’t I say HK?” After all, her staff called me Miss Go. Why insult her by butchering the sounds I couldn’t form?

She paused behind me, delaying long enough to highlight the ludicrous nature of my request. Yo, Barack ol’ buddy. I can call you BO, right?

“Sorry,” I mumbled.

“Americans are so familiar,” she said, in an undertone.

“Koreans are so formal!” I protested.

“Yes,” she answered, tapping one manicured finger against another. “Let’s show you how formal.”
