...so I'll play it safe and declare everything below adults-only

Five years ago, Maya Jain kissed her best friend only to have him run out of her dorm room and leave the state. But when his hacker ways land him in a world of trouble, she's the one he turns to for help. As their physical relationship picks up where it left off, she decides it’s time to make him see her as more than the bespectacled, bookish girl he once called “Owl.”

Maya & Zack's First Kiss

Maya hadn’t been terribly surprised to see her friend in better spirits after the end of his five-year-long, soap-operatic relationship than he’d ever been before. The man had practically celebrated getting dumped, which everyone besides her had found odd. Such life events were typically commemorated in their social circle with a thirty-eight- hour World of Warcraft induced stupor, or at the very least a Star Trek marathon. Zack hadn’t even had the decency to innovate a new social media platform as a way to prove to his ex the depth of her mistake.

Instead, he’d hosted a LAN party in his dorm room, bought everyone free beer, and gotten drunk enough she’d beaten him at Guitar Hero. In her infinite lack of wisdom, she’d interpreted every minutiae of his behavior that night—the fact that he asked her to stay after the rest of the crew had left, the way he tucked her hair behind her ear several times over the course of three hours, and the fact that his lips grazed her cheek as he pulled her down on the mattress beside him—to mean that he wanted something more.

So she kissed him.

And at the time, she’d thought he kissed her back. His tongue had been inside her mouth, his hands had slid under her sweatshirt, and he’d damn well used his knee to part her thighs. Just when she’d thought all her dreams were on the verge of coming true, he’d bolted up as if tasered and stormed out of his own dorm room.

The next day, he’d boarded the first plane out of Logan Airport for San Francisco. She hadn’t heard a word from him since.

Stranded in an airport in the heart of the Middle-Eastern desert, Michelle meets an abrasive, but all-too-sexy stranger. After inviting her to share a scrumptious five-course meal, this local man tempts her to explore their chemistry in some unlikely locations.

Michelle & Kal's First Kiss

She couldn’t remember the last time she’d been kissed. Even if she did, his mastery would have turned the memory to cinder. She faced a man, not a young boy experimenting with teeth and tongue. Instead of the comfortable joining of lips between two people more friends than lovers, he drowned her in a tangle of silk and steel.

His tongue delved. She closed her fingers over his broad shoulders before trailing them down his triceps. One of his hands cradled her nape as the other spanned her back. The contact melted her muscles. With his arms snaked around her body, she felt captive even though she sat on top.

She should be in charge. She should be taking the lead. Instead, his mouth set the rhythm and pace, guiding her through the sensual dance she only now realized she had barely known.

She reminded herself this was just a kiss—a single, sumptuous, seemingly endless kiss that threatened to turn her brain to mush. All her concerns shimmered out of reach as he closed his teeth over her lower lip. She hesitantly brushed the tip of her tongue over his mouth. He pulled it in and lured her into a sensuous dance. When she retreated, he devoured. No time for thought or hesitation. No time for her to catalogue what movement led to the next. When it ended, her swollen lips throbbed, her body branded.

Caution struggled to break through the haze of desire. “What if someone sees us?”

Scorching desert heat, ice-cold champagne, and a world of opulence—the perfect setting for a one-night stand. Certain they will never meet again, two strangers agree to casual, no-strings sex that turns into something more.

Nulli & Jason's First (On-Page) Kiss

She found Jason silhouetted next to a stall with a carrot in hand. His favorite chestnut mare poked its head out to take a bite. He laughed and patted the horse’s nose. His white jeans were muddied, and his red polo was drenched in sweat. He had looked devastating in a dinner jacket last night. The man looked even sexier now.

White teeth flashed when she reached his side. His hazel eyes appeared less green and contained flecks of gold in the orange light. With her heels, they were close to the same height. She smelled horse, mud, and a hint of beer. She couldn’t resist the urge to touch him and found an excuse by tucking an errant strand of blond hair behind his ear. “Great game.”

“This is better,” he murmured before their lips met. She closed her eyes. The hat in her hand dropped to the floor. They had sneaked kisses before and each time she indulged her fancy, the need to do more intensified. The only way she was able to steady herself was by gripping fistfuls of his shirt. His arms circled her, pulling her so close she could feel the bulge growing against her belly. She smiled into the kiss as he backed her against the stall.

“There are laws here prohibiting public indecency,” she warned when his hand reached under her dress to trail up her inner thigh. “The hotel you picked is hours away.”

Thanks again for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the kisses!
